Our Walking Programme
Sunday Rambles
Sunday rambles are usually between 8-10 miles,
covering a wide range of areas: the North Downs; Surrey heaths; Kent and
Sussex Weald. We usually meet at East Croydon station at 9.30 am and
travel to the start of the walk by car or train. If you do not have a
car we will arrange a lift for you - it is suggested in our programme
how much passengers might contribute to the cost of the lift (the amount
is shown preceded by "(P)" on the programme page). For 'train rambles'
please contact the organiser named in the programme to check what time
to meet.
We have a stop when walkers have the option of
buying a pub lunch or finding a suitable spot nearby to eat their own
packed lunch.

Ambles and Interest Visits
Ambles are easy walks of around 2 - 4 miles. They
pass and visit many places of interest. Interest Visits are normally a
day out to a place of historical or general interest with far less
walking. The letters DOP stand for Drop Out Points which are near public
transport. In order to enjoy your day out casual clothes and comfortable
footwear are recommended. Please contact Barbara on 01737 552911 for
more information.
